Philip J. Caparso: Phil Caparso is a founder and managing director of Blackstone Consulting. Phil is responsible for the government relations and marketing strategies for Blackstone clients. Prior to co-founding Blackstone, Phil served as CEO of Liberty Tree Communications, a non-profit vendor and strategic management company. Liberty Tree was a strategic management and marketing company that specialized in non-profit and political organizations. Additionally, Phil served as Vice President of Sales at New Boston Group. Phil brings over 15 years of management and consulting experience to Blackstone. Phil, a Massachusetts native, currently resides in Washington D.C and attended Villanova University.
Aaron K. Patt: Aaron Patt is a founder and managing director of Blackstone Consulting. Aaron is responsible for the Direct and Channel Market management for Blackstone Clients. Prior to co-founding Blackstone, Aaron was a Director and Executive Leadership Member of Targitmail, a leading e-mail marketing company. Aaron has also served as Regional Manager for Coradiant, a national MSP, and as Channel and OEM Marketing Strategist for both Targitmail and Coradiant. Prior positions at NTT Verio, the world's largest telecommunications and web hosting company, provided experience with Fortune 500 / 1000 companies. Aaron brings 15 years of experience in sales, marketing and new business development to Blackstone. Aaron attended Skidmore College.
Gail Crane
Director, Philadelphia Office
Gail Crane has been a managing director of both an M&A advisory group and a merchant banking, alternative financing firm. She was formerly a co-founder and member of Hamilton Capital Group, LLC, the boutique investment advisory group.

She brings more than 25 years of experience working with public and private companies, from Fortune 500 to emerging entrepreneurial companies, to find them resources as they were developing and commercializing highly advanced technologies, including IT. As a former registered Congressional lobbyist, she guided both private and public sector entities, securing international, federal, state and local government funding. As vice president, business development, for a Philadelphia investment banking firm, she was responsible for new client business, evaluating potential for placement of private equities in small market cap public companies, developing investor relationships and negotiating and placing transactions with strategic investors for clients. She was also the senior vice president of a private equity Fund of Funds.

During the 1980s, Ms. Crane co-owned or managed a number of successful consulting organizations specializing in political and government affairs, federal contracting and research grant assistance. Her clients included Bechtel Corporation, Unisys, CertainTeed, Babcock & Wilcox, Lukens Steel Inc., Conwal, Inc. and a consortium of major universities including New York University, University of Virginia, Ohio State University and others. She also worked as a consultant on special assignment for several Executive Branch agencies including the Appalachian Regional Commission, Departments of Labor and Veterans Affairs and served on the Coordinating Committee for Juvenile Justice and the Small Business Administrations’ Initiative on Women’s Business Ownership.

She has been the focal point in sourcing and placement of recent and pending private equity transactions for client companies in physician billing services, healthcare software, polymer-based applications for agricultural products, industrial products, advanced metals injection molding and homeland security technologies.

Gail has been listed among “Who’s Who Among American Women” since 1990. Ms. Crane was also a registered broker with Series 7 license with the National Association of Securities Dealers. She has served on numerous non-profit and private companies’ boards of directors and has been honored by a number of organizations for her contributions to the communities they serve. Most recently she has agreed to serve as a strategic advisor to the locally-based International Security Group, Inc. in Philadelphia.
